Part monograph, part magazine, each issue of Bag is devoted entirely to one emerging Canadian artist. The first issue of Bag is about Vancouver artist Devitt Brown. It’s 40-pages, it's tabloid-sized and it’s printed on the cheapest newsprint we could find. The cover was stamped by hand because the printer feared a lawsuit (it's a long story but we like to think that this makes each copy unique). It comes in a cheap cellophane bag, it’s signed by the artist and is a numbered edition of 250.
